Nataly Zukerman
Dramaturg for the works GO, Blue Zone, Acting our Age
Nataly Zukerman is an independent performance artist, dramaturg, artistic director, and lecturer. She has created and participated in numerous theatre, dance, and performance works, globally, spanning her twenty-year career. Her work deals with notions of body, identity, and disability, as she creates autobiographical and interdisciplinary works.
Her works in Israel include: Blueberry (creator and performer with Tomer Koppel, Atalia Branzburg, Ori Lenkinski) – Best Performance award at Acco Festival 2022; Meeting Point (with Anat Radnay) for IntimaDance Festival 2021; Practice Makes Perfect (creator and performer) – Best Performer award at Acco Festival 2015; The Other Body (creator with Atalia Branzburg and performer) – Best Performer award at Kipod Hazahav (the Israeli fringe awards), 2014. Her workd abroad include: Willo & Robo (Norway); Are you Cold? (NRLA Festival, Glasgow); It All Depends on Who Plays the Leading Part (Edinburgh Fringe Festival). She has participated in the works: Sal Tarbut by Yair Vardi; Ding Dong by Tamar Raban; Spermology by Dapha Silberg; Not Letting it In by Jason Danino Holt.
As a dramaturg, she has been working with theater and dance artists such as Jason Danino Holt (Not Letting it In, Name Drop), Ran Bechor (Shreber), Galit Liss (GO, Blue Zone, Acting our Age), Dapha Silberg (Demonstrate) Niv Sheinfeld & Oren Laor (Art Attack), Ayala Frenkel (Transfor(man)ce) and others. Between 2018-2019 she was the dramaturg of IsraDrama and International Exposure of Israeli theater.
Among her work as artistic director: Kelim Dance Festival 2022-2023 at Kelim Choreographic Center with Ayala Frenkel; Festival for the Day After - Striving for Touch 2020 with Jason Morris Danino Holt; Theater of Uncertainty online conference 2020 on Israeli and International creations during Covid – with Moshe Perlstein, in collaboration with Eve and initiated by the Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Talooy Bamakom – a Site Specific Festival 2010-2014 with Lechay Beckerman; Bat Yam International Festival of Street Theater and Art 2018 with Roey Gormezano, Yoav Bartel and Yogi Dekel.
Nataly also works as a lecturer in the Theater Department at Tel Aviv University and Kibbutzim College of Education, Technology and the Arts, teaching performance and theater education. She holds a BA in education and directing from Kibbutzim College of Education, a BA in performance from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and MA in theater studies from Tel Aviv University.
Orit Gross
Assistant and Co-Creator for the works 557, GO, Blue Zone, Acting our Age
Orit Gross (born 1955) is a psychotherapist, creator, dancer (non-dancer) and writer. Dancer and collaborator for Galit Liss in the works: Acting our Age (2023) – a collaboration of Galit Liss and Yael Flexer, Blue Zone (2020), GO (2017) and 557 (2014). As a performer/dancer, she participated in the works: Hysteria Shows (2022) by Adili Liberman; You Suddenly Smiled at Me (2019) by Adi Shildan; Observation Room (2017) by Galit Criden. She has published 4 prose books: Dwelling Collection (Carmel Publishing, 2019), Sand Floor (Hakibbutz Hameuchad – Sifriat Poalim Publishing House, 2012), Transparent Shells (Carmel Publishing, 2006), Stories Behind the Back (Carmel Publishing, 2003).
Avi Belleli
Original Music for the works 557, GO, Blue Zone
Avi Belleli is the founder of the music group Tractor’s Revenge and acknowledged as an diverse, fruitful and original artist-creator in Israeli culture. During the last three decades he has been leading Tractor’s Revenge as a soloist, guitar-bass player and songwriter. To date, he has released 9 albums with Tractor’s Revenge and 6 Solo conceptual albums, collaborated with artists from various disciplines and composed music to dance, theater, cinema and television for which he has gained many prizes.

Rotem Elroy
Light Design for the works GO, Blue Zone, Acting our Age
Rotem Elroy is a light designer and a technician. Since 2010, he has been collaborating with many artists in theater and dance, and has designed the light for performances at Tmuna Theater, Hazira, the Train Theater, Hanut 31, Habait Theater, the Cameri Theater, Haifa Theater, Khan Theater, Beer Sheva Theater, Tel Aviv University, Kibbutzim College, the Goodman Acting School of the Negav, Israel Festival, the International Puppet Festival in Jerusalem, and various independent productions. He has been working with Galit Liss for several years and designed the light for her works GO, Blue Zone and Acting our Age.
Yael Flexer
Choreographer and Dancer in the work Acting our Age
Yael Flexer (born 1971) is co-artistic director of Flexer & Sandiland together with digital artist Nic Sandiland. The company has been active for more than 20 years, creating works for the stage, digital installations for galleries and public spaces, dance films and phone apps. The works focus on creating an intimate and informal dialogue between dancers and audience in a way that addresses the physical presence of the spectator. Recent company productions include Imagining Otherwise (2020-2023), Curiouser (2018-19), Disappearing Acts (2016) and the interactive works Border Control (2022) Trip Hazard (2014-2021), The Hum (2017-2020) and Weighting (2016-2017) by Nic Sandiland.
Flexer & Sandiland are based in Brighton, work and perform in partnerships with festivals and venues across the UK and internationally. Commissions as an independent artist include among others: E-Werk Tanz Festival (Freiburg, Germany), Trinity-Laban, Mapdance, Motus Dance Festival, Scottish Dance Theatre, National Youth Dance Company Scotland, Maslool Tel Aviv, Israel. Recent comissions include London Contemporary Dance School, The Place, Dance East CATS, Hull Dance, Sandnes KUlturhus and Stavanger University, Norway and the over 60s dance companies Three Score & Encore East.
To date Flexer has created 14 full-length touring productions for the company touring throughout the UK and internationally, and more than 40 for other companies around the world, youth and community groups and companies for the elderly. Yael is a Reader in Dance at the University of Chichester where she directs the University’s postgraduate touring company – Mapdance.
Iris Moalem
Stage Design for the work Blue Zone
Iris Moalem (born 1967) is an artist who works in multiple disciplines, including stage lighting and video design. She holds a BA in theater design from Tel Aviv University, and a degree in visual communication engineering from Hadassah College. In the last three years, she has co-created Hi, Can I Help You with Efrat Rubin and Uri Levinson, which was presented at the Arab-Jewish Center in 2022, and co-curated A-Genre Festival Event Horizon alongside Nitzan Cohen and Erez Maayan-Shalev, which was presented digitally in 2020. Among her recent work: stage design for Blueberry by Nataly Zukerman (Akko Festival 2022) – award for stage design; stage design for Blue Zone by Galit Liss (Israel Festival 2020). During her professional career she has received 4 Kipod Hazahav (Israeli Fringe prize) awards and 2 additional awards in Akko Festival. She mentors light design students in the theater department at Tel Aviv University. Among her works: light design for Project s1 by Ensemble Can; light and video design for Practice Makes Perfect by Nataly Zukerman; stage and light design for Paradise Lost by Pathos-Mathos group.
Karni Postel
Music for the work Acting Our Age
Karni Postel is a critically acclaimed singer-songwriter, cellist, experimental artist and producer. A graduate of the Rubin Academy of Music in Tel Aviv University. She has had a long career as a musician, playing cello and singing with Assaf Avidan, Assaf Amdursky, Dana Berger, Aviv Geffen, Berry Sakharof, Vered Klepter, Shalom Hanoch, Gidi Gov, Shlomo Artzi, Shuli Rand, Meir Ariel’s Rishumey Pecham (Charcoal drawings), Mashina, The Friends of Natasha, Shlomi Shaban, Alona Daniel, and various experimental and improvisation ensembles.
From the 90s, she has composed extensively for TV, cinema and documentaries, winning the music category in the Jerusalem Film Festival. She composed original musical scores for numerous dance companies and choreographers including Bat-Sheva Dance Company (Ohad Naharin’s Virus), Noa Dar, Yasmeen Godder, Rina Schenfeld, Iris Erez and Tmu-na Dance Theater Ensemble. Between 1994-2000 she partnered with Haim Laroz to form the duo Bikini which released two albums. In 2001 she launched a solo career with a self-titled album which enjoyed significant airplay in Israel. In 2009 she released another solo album, Room – live versions to the first album. In 2016 she joined the singing group AntiShefa. She received the Ophir Award for musical creation for the movie Asia. Postel is currently a member of the Dorlir String Quartet and recently established the Karni Postel Quintet with sell out performances at Heychal Hatarbut (Israel’s largest and most prestigious Concert Hall). Mother to Toma and Itamar.
Maya Bash
Costume Design for Blue Zone
Bachelor of arts (B.A), Fashion Design graduate, Shenkar, Ramat-Gan. Graduate from Centre for Fashion Enterprise, UAL, London.
"In 2005, Bash founded and opened a studio and a flagship store in Tel Aviv, in an underground Electric Garden area. Her design line is minimalistic, functional and gender neutral. She takes the classic cuts as the basis of the models, change, deconstruct, and come up with a new garment.
Usually, working on a new collection Bash creates a story that interest me, sometimes the story comes via brainstorming with people from different artistic fields. She very much believes in working together, connect different industries’ combine ideas of various people, knowledge, practices, craft, and techniques to achieve new creations
